TCR and Campaign-Related Errors
Error Code | Error Message | Common Cause | Solution |
4773 | Inactive-campaign | Every phone number must have an active campaign associated with it before any messages are sent. Sometimes those campaigns become disassociated with a TN and need reassigning. | Open a support chat with Ikeono to check your campaign assignment. |
30034 | Message not sent due to inactive campaign | Often happens on new accounts where the TCR campaign assignment to the phone number did not complete. | Open a chat with support so the campaign can be deleted and reassigned to the phone number. |
Carrier-Related Errors
Error Code | Error Message | Common Cause | Solution |
4410 | Could-not-download-media | Some files are too large to meet carrier MMS limits and may be rejected. | Ikeono compresses media automatically, but for higher resolution, use email or a Drive link instead. |
4770 | Destination-spam-detected | Most often this is a false positive flag on a receiving carrier's spam filters, and is often caused by URLs but can also be from special characters. | If there is a URL in the message, try splitting the messages. Send the SMS and then wait a couple of seconds and send the URL. |
4771 | Rejected-shortened-url | Carriers block link shorteners like Bit.ly due to scam associations. Ask ChatGPT | Only send links from public URLs. |
Recipient Device or Number Issues
Error Code | Error Message | Common Cause | Solution |
4750 | Destination-rejected-message | The carrier rejected the message without a clear reason. For AT&T, it could be a prepaid user, blocked SMS type, or spam flag. | If the number is one you have messaged before, you can try messaging again later. |
4720 | Invalid-destination-address | This usually happens when texting a landline. For T-Mobile, it may mean the user blocks toll-free or short code messages. | This number can’t receive texts. We recommend reaching out to the customer through another channel. |
4700 | Invalid-service-type | Most often this error occurs when texting a landline. | This number can’t receive texts. We recommend reaching out to the customer through another channel. |
30003 | Unreachable destination handset | Device is off, out of service, or unreachable. Check device power, signal, and carrier network. | Try again later or use another contact method. |

30006 | Landline or unreachable carrier | Number is a landline or carrier does not support SMS. Verify number type and carrier support. | This number can’t receive texts. We recommend reaching out to the customer through another channel. |
