How to setup deposits (Lightspeed R-Series)

How to turn on deposits and choose the Lightspeed R-Series register, payment type, and employee for payments made by text.

Deposits are available for Lightspeed R-Series. Automatic deposits aren't available for Lightspeed X-Series.

  1. Click on your name (top right) > Account settings.

  2. Click on Deposits under Payments.

  3. Configure Deposits settings.
    ​

    1. Add deposits: Turn this on to collect deposits by text and sync them to customer profiles in Lightspeed.

    2. Lightspeed Register: The register where the deposit transaction will be recorded in Lightspeed.

    3. Lightspeed Payment Type: The Lightspeed payment type that will be used for transactions paid by text through Stripe.

    4. Lightspeed Employee: The employee linked to the deposit transaction in Lightspeed, mainly used for reporting.

  4. Click Save.
